I started my career as a labor and delivery nurse. About 4 years in, I decided to start to focus more on lactation. I began studying and working towards becoming a lactation consultant. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant or IBCLC in 2014. I worked in a dual role as lactation consultant and nurse for 2 years, then transitioned into a role as a lactation consultant only. I look forward to helping you on your breastfeeding journey at the first feeding, last feeding, or somewhere in between.
I have been married to my husband Paul since 2008. We live in Waukesha, WI with our 5 children: John Thomas (2009), Emma (2011), Norah (2014), Grace (2019) and Eden (2021). All of them were breastfed for over a year. We also share our home with our dog Max.
In my free time I like to spend time with my family, preferably near the water with a good book. I also love to cook, bake and sew. I will never say no to a great meal out with friends.
